About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will own revenue generation across our Gen 3 robotics platform and our contract manufacturing operations. You will manage opportunities from first conversation through close, building long-term customer relationships along the way.

This is a high-impact, strategic sales role. You will work with founders, brand operators, and manufacturing leaders to help them adopt next-generation production systems. Depending on assignment, you may focus primarily on Gen 3 platform leasing or on contract manufacturing partnerships.

You should be comfortable selling complex, technical solutions that combine hardware, software, automation, and AI-driven optimization. This is not transactional sales - it's consultative, solution-oriented business development.

This is a remote role.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
  • Run discovery calls, demos, and solution presentations for Gen 3 and Labs offerings.
  • Develop strategic account plans and multi-step deal strategies.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to scope technical requirements.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline in CRM.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and partnership structures.
  • Work closely with Customer Success and Operations to ensure smooth handoffs post-close.
  • Refine positioning and messaging based on real market feedback.
  • Hit and exceed revenue targets.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
  • Experience selling complex or technical solutions preferred.
  • Comfortable discussing hardware, software, automation, or manufacturing systems.
  • Strong consultative sales skills and ability to navigate multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Highly organized with disciplined pipeline management.
  • High agency and ownership mindset - you take responsibility for outcomes.
  • Comfort operating in fast-moving, early-stage environments.
  • Actively leverages AI tools to research accounts, prepare proposals, and accelerate deal cycles.
  • Nice-to-haves: manufacturing, robotics, industrial technology, or CPG experience.
